World Class School Status
The Bishop of Llandaff is designated a World Class School, having successfully been accredited the quality mark in 2019. There are around 150 schools, in total, that have achieved this status and we are the first, and only, school in Wales to have successfully achieved this standard. The status was re-accredited in 2022 and the school will now retain the status indefinitely.
About World Class Schools
World Class Schools Quality Mark was awarded charity status in recognition of the significant benefits to state educated students that Quality Mark accreditation generates, and the positive impact of World Class status on the school, students, the wider community and state education UK wide. As a charity we work to access funding and opportunities to support schools in capitalising on their World Class status, and improve the educational, higher education and vocational opportunities for World Class students.
Being recognised as a World Class School
The World Class Schools Quality Mark is awarded to schools in the UK and internationally whose students have demonstrated World Class skills and competencies by successfully completing an assessment process led by a team of shadow and qualified assessors, against the WCSQM assessment framework.
