We are delighted to report another set of exceptional GCSE examination outcomes for our students. The proportion of Year 11 students who achieved 5 or more A*C stood at 100%, with 88% of students achieving 5 or more A*C including English and mathematics. An impressive 56% of students achieved 5 or more A*A grades and the average capped points score across nine qualifications (including the best results in English, mathematics, science and the six strongest outcomes in other subjects) stood at 454.

Students in Year 10 were also celebrating wonderful outcomes today in various unitised elements of the first set of new qualifications. ​We are equalliy delighted for their success and they have laid solid foundations for their own success next year.

Results such as these do not happen by chance. The are the product of the hard work, determination, and talents of our students. However, they are also a tribute to the dedication, expertise, and support that each member of staff provides day in, day out. I wish to pay tribute to them all as we celebrate another successful summer season.
