Posted on: 20/08/2026GCSE Results - 20th August 2026We are delighted to report another set of exceptional GCSE examination outcomes for our students. The proportion of Year 11 students who achieved 5 or more A*C stood at 100%, with 88% of students achieving 5 or more A*C including English and mathematics. An impressive 56% of students achieved 5 or more A*A grades and the average capped points score across nine qualifications (including the best results in English, mathematics, science and the six strongest outcomes in other subjects) stood at 454. Students in Year 10 were also celebrating wonderful outcomes today in various unitised elements of the first set of new qualifications. âWe are equalliy delighted for their success and they have laid solid foundations for their own success next year. Results such as these do not happen by chance. The are the product of the hard work, determination, and talents of our students. However, they are also a tribute to the dedication, expertise, and support that each member of staff provides day in, day out. Posted on: 13/08/2026A Level Results - 13th August 2026Students and staff are celebrating a stunning set of A Level results. The proportion of students who achieved 3 or more A level grades at A*A stood at 40%, while 92% of students achieved 3 or more A*C grades and 99% at 3 or more A*E. Overall, 48% of grades awarded were at A*A; 75% at A*B; 93% at A*C; and 99% at A*E. We are delighted for all of our outgoing students who have achieved remarkable outcomes. While they leave us today with excellent qualifications, I hope the experiences and values they have developed with us will enable them to flourish in their chosen pathway. We are equalliy pleased for our Year 12 students who have secured very strong AS outcomes and have laid the foundations for future success next year. I wish to pay tribute to all our students, their families and our staff on securing another set of exceptional A level results. These outcomes are a reflection of their combined determination and talent. They truly are deserved and I am extremely grateful to them all. Marc Belli Headteacher

Posted on: 26/06/2026School Closed - Monday 29th June 2026Further to our recent correspondence regarding the funeral of Dominic Bailey, one of our Year 13 students, the school will be closed to all students (with the exception of those students within The Marion Centre) on Monday 29th June 2026. This decision has been made to allow members of our school community the opportunity to pay their respects and to reflect during this difficult time. We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we come together to honour the life of one of our own. The school will reopen as normal on Tuesday 30th June 2026.

Posted on: 2/11/2024Sixth Form Open Evening - 14th November 2024Families and students in Year 11 are warmly invited to our Sixth Form Open Evening that takes place on Thursday 14th November 2024. Whilst the vast majority of students opt to remain with us in sixth form, each year we accept places from students from other schools. There will be an opportunity to meet with existing students and staff, as well as a presentation, in the main hallf, from Mrs Smith, Head of Sixth Form, and Mr Belli, Executive Headteacher at 5.30pm.
