Parents/carers are advised that Heol Goch remains closed between Gwaelod-y-Garth and Pentyrch (14th October 2026) following a tree falling onto the road.

School transport services will operate as normal tomorrow morning (Thursday 15th October 2026). However, owing to road closure, coaches will need to use diversion routes that could arrive slightly later than usual at pick-up points. Students should wait at the usual bus stops but allow extra-time for their transport to arrive.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience and understanding. The local authority have confirmed that work continues to make the road safe to re-open in a timely manner.
